Parc Asterix ( Asterix ) – the second largest amusement Park in France, second only to Disneyland ® Paris. The Park is made based on the popular comic book and cartoon about the adventures of Asterix, so all the rides and views of the Park offer insight into ancient history. The Park is divided into five thematic zones: Via Antiqua, Ancient Greece, Vikings, Gaul and the middle Ages . Via Antiqua is located in the Central part of the Park and recreates the part of the Roman Empire. Here you can ride a water ride Romus et Rapidus . to visit the “Crazy house.” to see a colorful presentation of La Légion recrute (Legion, recruits) is a new show consisting of circus. On the outskirts of the Roman Empire is the Ancient Greece area, based on ancient Greek legends and myths. The names of the rides speak for themselves: “Lariska Hydra”, “Flight of Icarus” . Dolphin show and sea lions “Theatre of Poseidon” .
Near the lakes located district of Vikings . here many water rides and the biggest coaster Parc Asterix – Goudurix . length 750 m, with a height of 37 m and a top speed of 75 mph. Thematic area “middle Ages” tells the story of Paris in the middle ages. There are sculptors,glassblowers, potters, artists who create these works of art for visitors; recreated streets of Paris in the 18th century. Here is one of the most famous attractions of the Park – Oxygenarium – a huge swirling water ride on which you go down a giant inflatable circles. Gallium – themed area built where the village of Asterix, here you can make a lot of funny Pictures. In addition to regular water and roller coasters, visitors can ride on Epidemaïs Croisière – sightseeing attraction. Traveling in small boats around the village, visitors will be able to see all the main characters of the comic book about Asterix. In addition, there is a children’s Playground La Forêt des druides (druids) with slides and magical grottoes.

The ticket for adult (over 12 years) costs 39 euros.
Ticket for child (3-11 years inclusive) costs 29 euros.
Children under the age of 3 are free.
Parking – EUR 7/hour.

By car: 30 km North of Paris, on the A1 motorway towards Lille, take the exit to Parc Ast rix é (between exits # 7 and 8).
By RER . line B3 to the station of Roissy. further from the bus station by bus to Parc Asterix (about 15 minutes). The bus to the Park departs every half hour from 10:30 to 18:30, back from 11:00 to 19:00.
By bus: Direct bus from the Louvre Museum ( Palais Royal ). Entrance Carroussel du Louvre ( rue Rivoli ) or la Pyramide. next on the escalator in Hall Charles V (at the shops). Departure at 9:45 from the Park at 18:00. Tickets cost 19 euros/adult, 13 € /child 3-11 years.
